Me
God has purposed me to bring restoration, healing, education, and awareness to the field of Sexual Violence- to include sex trafficking, sex offending, sex assault, sexual abuse, and the oversexualization of children in dance and sports.
Unexpected sexualized images or videos (often violent) can make children feel scared, overwhelmed and confused. They can also elicit a sexual response. That’s the ultimate goal of pornography: excite the viewer, overwhelm the senses, arouse the body. It’s a hook. Developmentally kids’ brains and bodies weren’t meant to process this kind of information.
We struggle with the tension between applicable solutions and the knowledge that children are being exploited and sexually abused every day. This is what makes prevention so difficult, because it takes time
